Meet Our Pastors
Pastor Eric Susberry
Eric A. Susberry, founder and pastor of Victory in Christ Kingdom Church (formerly Elim Christian Church) for thirty years and is an anointed pastor who has a commission to teach and preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Susberry has established three core values at the church: miracle evangelism, marriage/family and leadership. He believes that based on these values, the vision God has placed in his heart will be carried out and fulfilled.
Pastor Susberry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois and was a former Chicago Police Officer. He also holds a School of Ministry Certificate from Faith Tabernacle School of Ministry, the Illinois District Council of Assemblies of God and is a graduate of Living Word Bible Training Center, where Dr. Bill Winston is the Pastor. Pastor Susberry, along with his wife, was ordained into Ministry in 1992, by Pastor Al Smith of Faith Tabernacle Church.
On the 17th day of January 2015, Pastor Susberry was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pastor Susberry and his wife, Pastor Caren Susberry are committed to the building of strong families, based on kingdom principles from the Word of God. He has been married for forty-one years and is the father of three beautiful daughters who are married. He is the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren.
Pastor Caren Susberry
Pastor Caren Susberry is an ordained minister who assists her husband, Pastor Eric Susberry, in the Pastorate. She currently serves in the area of teacher/preacher. She is an anointed servant of God who has a passion for teaching the importance of intimacy with God, the value of discipleship, and being filled with the Holy Spirit. Her ministry gifts are exhortation, teaching, and prophesy. Pastor Caren leads the Life Line Intercessory Prayer Ministry in her church, My Sister’s Keeper Women’s Ministry and counsels married couples alongside her husband. She teaches Wednesday Night Bible study and Marriage Enrichment Classes. She is a conference and church speaker as well, with a heart for God’s people with emphasis on women.
Pastor Caren holds a Bachelor degree in speech and language therapy from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. She also holds School of Ministry certificates from Faith Tabernacle School of Ministry, Chicago, The Illinois District Council of the Assemblies of God, and is a graduate of Living Word Bible Training Center. She also holds a Doctorate of Divinity from Saint Thomas Christian University.
Pastor Caren took her first missionary trip 2004 to hold conferences in Nyahururu, Nyaharu and Nairobi Kenya to teach Pastor’s wives and women the Word of God. Her love for ministering to women has now expanded to include women across the globe.
Pastor Caren and her husband are committed to the building of strong families. She has been married for forty-one years and is the mother of three beautiful daughters who are married, Erica (George) Reed, Brittany (Torrian) Scott, and Noel (Vincent) Rey. She is the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren.

Pastor George Reed began serving as Assistant Pastor at Victory in Christ Kingdom Church in April of 2021.
It was placed in his heart by God to kickstart Project Blessing, a food ministry that serves the community.
Pastor George Reed is married to Erica Reed and is the proud father of their children, Hannah, George, and Eric. Before becoming Assistant Pastor, he served in the Children’s Ministry along with his wife Erica Reed and also the music ministry.
God had already told him in his dreams that He wanted him to be a preacher. Pastor George then had a series of divine affirmations. He was a part of the ministers in training class under senior Pastor Eric Susberry.
Pastor George Reed holds the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Master of Christian Ministry at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He believes leadership development is a lifelong process and is eager to be shaped as God leads him.
